Greg Szaro is a New York City Broadway sub drummer, Musical Director and member of Local 802. He holds Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees from Berklee College of Music and has spent the past decade as a full-time theatre musician.

Greg serves as theatre drummer for Cunard's Queen fleet, where he is Principal Drummer for Come From Away and currently Resident Drummer aboard Queen Victoria. A typical week moves between the Tony Award-winning musical, Cunard's own production shows, guest headliners and big band nights in the Queens Room. Before Cunard, he spent eight years with Royal Caribbean International, where he also served as Musical Director, leading rehearsals and preparing orchestras for major productions.

His book includes We Will Rock You, Mamma Mia!, Grease, Hairspray, CATS, Dreamgirls, The Wizard of Oz and Come From Away, alongside big band, jazz, pop and rock. He is a strong sight reader who moves from a full pit score to a jazz combo to a rock set in the same week. He studied privately with Mike Mangini, Kenwood Dennard and Yoron Israel.

Based in New York, Greg is available for Broadway sub calls, pit work, studio sessions and tours.
